Saint Joseph Villa is a senior living community providing skilled nursing and rehab, hospice and palliative care, and respite care for 311 Sisters, and laywomen and men.

Bringing the residents together is an important part of the community. The auditorium was heavily used by the community for special events, funerals, and meetings. It was also used for plays and concerts by the students at the nearby school run by the Sisters. The room was well located within the building with direct access to the commercial kitchen. But the room was outdated and not as usable anymore.

The renovation created a state-of-the-art space for use by the residents, families, adjacent school, and staff. A new ceiling design organizes the whole room. Acoustics and a new sound system, along with new stage and general lighting make the performances more enjoyable. The new food service component is easier for staff, and makes it a welcome community space again.
