The People People

While much has changed since 1948 when T. Norman Mansell and Richard A. Lewis founded what is known today as Lenhardt Rodgers, the firm has remained true to its roots in creating purposeful design for living, worshipping, working, and learning. As the firm’s portfolio expanded and new technologies enhanced the art and science of architecture, the consistent thread has been the focus on people.

Creating people-focused designs has earned Lenhardt Rodgers the distinction as the people people – both in how the firm creates a dynamic collaboration with its clients and its dedication to designing with people as the focus.

Under our leadership, clients realize this passion in realistic architectural solutions that achieve their unique visions and project goals. For many clients, this has drawn them to repeatedly engage with Lenhardt Rodgers. These collaborations can span decades, involve multiple projects, often with the same client team.

Think Smart

Untethered by prescribed solutions, clients can expect work that is intentionally transparent. Designs are the result of a close client-firm interaction within the context of the client’s distinct culture, program, and site. The resulting individuality is a strength of each project, regardless of scope, size or budget.

Clients have confidence that projects realistically stay within budget parameters and are constructed on time, thanks to decades of experience guiding them through a smooth process of design, approvals, and construction.

Through knowledge, exploration, and thinking smart, Lenhardt Rodgers brings value and creates success for clients. Whether it’s designing sustainable buildings or creating spaces for specialized care, a cultural commitment to continuous learning ensures that clients benefit from working with a firm that is ahead of emerging trends and leading concepts.

Work Lean

So clients are assured of the best set of experience and skill, project teams are carefully curated from fully integrated in-house architectural and interior design professionals. Dating back as a key founding tenet, Lenhardt Rodgers ensures that each project benefits from the personal involvement of a principal and is led by a senior staff – from initial contact through the final punch list.

A comprehensive process blending the nuances and needs of each individual project ensures real-time communications and accountability between all team members including client organizations, their representatives, consultants, and contractors. This streamlined process has consistently proven to deliver projects on time, on budget and exceeding client’s expectations.

As technology takes a center role in designing and managing projects, Lenhardt Rodgers utilizes Building Information Modelling (BIM) through its use of Revit in documenting projects. This allows the client as well as contractors to visualize the building in 3 dimensions during the design process and prior to construction. The firm is versed in the integration of technology into the design, from sound systems to monitoring systems to specialized circadian lighting controls systems – and all technologies that that serve to make buildings function for the client’s needs.
